North Raleigh location is easily accessible but expect to be disappointed by the personal service provided. Facilities are below average at best and in need of significant upgrades. There are better facilities in Raleigh for your horse.

Hey, does anybody know more about this horse? One lady mentioned a NEAT rare Peruvian horse. Is this horse dapple grey? I was told by the vet he is really an Andalusia not an Arabian. Anyway I use to own him. I would love to see him again and see if he remembers me. Oh, and to put in a good word about this stables, the horses get the best of care. I got married at this stables and I wish I could turn back the hands of time! The Lamm's know their stuff when it comes to breeding, training, and taking care of horses.

I'm not an expert but have taken a year of lessons. This stable has many horses and gorgeous trails but I was let down by the condition of the stables. They were more run-down than I am accustomed to. Not abusively so, but still disappointing. The horses we rode were exhausted. It was late afternoon on a hot day, but with so many horses they could have switched out. Trail-horses are docile but this went beyond that. The stirrups were not able to be adjusted short enough for my legs. (I'm not short at 5'6"!) Staff was polite, but not particularly friendly or helpful with riding skills for my beginner companions. Many horses seemed not to have been groomed that day ... not dirty but not as shiny as I would expect from this well-reputed stable. NEAT rare peruvian horse in the stables though!
Pros: good prices, Lots of Horses, Wonderful trails
Cons: Questionable stables, tired horses, lacked equipment

I think J&H is one of the best stables in raleigh. The horses are well taken care of and the people are friendly. My daughter went to their summer camp for a week and now all she can talk about is J&H and how bad she wants to go back next year! i recomend this stables to anyone that loves to ride and loves horses!

I fell that J and H is a nice stables I think that the people there are so sweet and you learn a lot about horses even if you are only there for an hour or two. I feel that everyone should go to J and H stables because it is the Best Stable in all of Raleigh
