I called two repair shops before I decided on this one, and I made the right choice. First of all, the other shop I called was going to charge me $40 more just for the service call. I called Oak Park in the morning and my TV was fixed that same afternoon! William was very knowledgeable, friendly, and he worked efficiently. I would highly recommend Oak Park Electronics for anyone who wants quality service from an honest company.
Pros: came out same day
Cons: none

Our 17-year-old TV died around 9:00am, and we called Oak Park after seeing a good review of their service. Not only did they come to our home by 10:00 that same morning, they fixed the old TV good as new AND another broken TV that we had been told wasn't worth repairing. The entire service call to fix TWO TVs cost us less than the cheapest, tiniest TV we could've bought new. The service guy was extremely friendly, helpful, and super fast. We highly recommend Oak Park to anyone needing electronics repair work!!!
Pros: In-home repair, honest estimates, fast service, friendly folks
Cons: None!

I had my projection TV checked out by another local company and was given a laundry list of problems that needed to be addressed. By the way none of the items that they listed were actually the problem. The price of the repair (in which they would not guarantee reliable service) was in excess of $1000. I called Oak Park as a last resort before I hauled this TV off to the dumpster and had a techician in my home in less than 2 hours of my call. The tech discovered the problem and corrected it in about 1 hour and the TV is working fine at a fraction of the quote that I received from the other company. I was very impressed with the knowledge of the technician and his ability to quickly isolate the trouble and then fix it right there in my living room. I would recommend these guys to anyone who is considering getting rid of their set after getting an astronomical estimate. Keep up the good work. Just got a call from my father in-law that the same techinician has just fixed his projection TV also. This is what I call quality service.
Pros: Repaired my set in my home in 1hr
Cons: None... Too bad I didn't know about them before I wasted money with the other company.

My 35" Sony TV went on the fritz. One call to Oak Park to make an appointment, and they came to my house at the promised time the next day. The technician quickly found and replaced the broken components, and my TV is working again.

Now i know why in shop estimates are Free, I Drove my Samsung down from Oxford as soon as i walked in the door, it was apparent that this shop does not fix many sets, there was piles and piles of product all over the shop, i don't even see how they walk in there, but i did leave my set there was told part would be in soon 3 weeks later no response , I should have stuck with my gut ! Oh well you live and you learn this post is for is for others to Beware!!
