I have been trying to find the right dining set for a long time. I visited every furniture store in the area. I stopped by Ambiente twice. On my first visit, I was given the attention I needed but was left alone to look around without pressure. I ended up going back weeks later and Julia remembered me and was extremely helpful with her opinions, but not once pressured me.I ended up getting the table and chairs during a floor sample sale and saved a LOT of money and got the most exceptional pieces. Julia was so much fun to work with. What could have been a very stressful day turned into a lot of fun! I reccommend ANYONE in town take a trip to this store. I was told that they keep changing out the windows and get new items all the time. I can't wait to go visit again!

As a man of business, I understand why people do not like to wait for large purchases. I don't mind waiting for something if I know it will be worth it. I placed an order which was estimated to arrive within 3 to 4 months. I received my order shortly thereafter, but was updated every step of the way. My sales person knew her products inside and out and answered every question I had with no problem. I thought she was the owner! I was updated when my order shipped and arrived, and though it ran a bit late, was compensated for the trouble. Customer service is very important to me and my business, and is definately a priority for this company as well. I felt like my business mattered, instead of feeling like just a customer. I recommend Ambiente to anyone who likes to be appreciated and expects quality for the money.

Yes, they have a very good choice of contemporary furniture at a fair price, however be sure to confirm when you will actually receive your order. We placed an order in the middle of April (2008) and it is almost September and we still have not received our furniture. This is ridiculous. We have not been given a straight answer on what the problem is. We should have demanded our deposit back weeks ago and purchased elsewhere. We will never purchase from Ambiente again.

This store has by far the best selection of modern furniture in the state. Their pricing is very fair and customer service is great. If you want good quality furniture and don't want to be over charged then you need to shop here.

I was so pleased with the new furniture I purchased here, im not really sure why somebody posted about bad service they helped me in every possible way imaginable with my design. Thanks again guys I look forward to visiting you again in the near future when my daughter finishes the purchase on her house.

Buyers be aware!!! Especially for first time buyers, i have traveled north and south on the east coast for contemporary furnitures, this is the ONLY place that doesn't do returns. And guess what? they don't tell you if one item is returnable or not. Also make sure you check your receipt. Ask questions if anything on the receipt doesn't look familiar to you.

You've got to go to this store if you are looking for really great prices in contemporary furniture.I have been to their former location on Glenwood and their prices were never this good. The best thing is that have most of the items in stock. No more waiting for 3 months on furniture. They have a glass tower with a really cool entrance. They even have a fun street scene and a world globe that spins. The staff is pretty easy-going and enthusiastic.They seem to know their products. No hassles when I went. It still about the reasonable prices for me and getting furniture quickly.....This place has it. Don't know who wrote that bad review, but this store is a fun place to shop. I was able to get a great sofa, chair and accessories and have it delivered in a few days. It is worth going to and at least checking out. I recommend it!!

I have shopped for contemporary furniture all over the east coast, this store has the best selection I have found anywhere! The service was great, prices were much lower than other places I have shopped and the merchandise was in stock. No more waiting months for delivery. I highly recommend this store.
