My husband Jon and I were looking for a great destination for our honeymoon. We were planning on St. Thomas, but found out it was a little above our budget. Brian at the Travel Network suggested an all-inclusive, adults only resort in Mexico within our budget and we went for it. Now we are already talking about when to go back, and are planning on going with my sister and brother-in-law. It was the best experience we have ever had... so much fun and we have built wonderful first memories of us as husband and wife. Thanks to the Travel Network for suggesting this beautiful resort, and listening to us about what we wanted, how much we wanted to spend, and doing the work for us. When you've got all the stresses of planning a wedding, it was nice to know that the honeymoon was being taken care of in trusting hands! I'm already starting to call up the Travel Network again for help on a Vegas trip! Thank you Brian!!!!

Trying to plan a honeymoon can be very overwhelming. I had some ideas on where I would like to go but because this was the first trip out of the U.S., I needed some expert advice. Travel Network was recommended to me so I met with Brian and he basically took things from there. He shared his experiences and then listened to our thougths and what were looking for on our trip. We had the most wonderful trip to Jamaicca and our resort was so great!! We had such a wonderful experience with the Travel Network and look forward to seeing them again to plan our future trips.

A month ago, my husband and I along with two other couples set off on an Eastern Caribbean Cruise (FABULOUS!). Brian and the staff at Travel Network could not have been any friendlier or accommodating. When we entered our cabins for the first time, we found an unexpected surprise. A bottle of wine compliments of Travel Network and a thoughtful card attached. One of my best friends celebrated her birthday while on the cruise. Brian had arranged for a YUMMY chocolate cake to be delivered to her one night at dinner, even something I could eat. You see, this was special for me too b/c I have an allergy which prevents me from eating certain flours. On our way back, our flight was cancelled. We called Brian on a Saturday afternoon and within 30 mins he had found flight options for returning home. We were pleased with the service at Travel Network and would recommend them to anyone.

My husband and I have worked with Brian twice planning trips. We have had a great experince working with him. He has always called me back or responded to my emails with any questions or concerns i had. Our first trip got cx due to a hurricane in the tropicals and the day it was cx he was working with my husband on rescheduling it for us. He is a very friendly person to work with. He also called my friend back late one sat. night when she had missed placed her documents for a cruise that we are going on. My friend was very concerned about getting her documents replaced and i told her to call him and he called her back with in 30 min. i would recomend travel network to anyone!!! Thanks Brian for your help!!! Kevin and Melissa, Wendell NC

A friend had used Travel Network several years ago (under different management) and recommended this agency to me. I made an appointment and met with Brian about a trip I was planning. My first doubts came when he yawned most of the time I was there. I was not sure if he found me boring or was tired himself....but not a great way to start! He told me he would e-mail me some information, but I never received it. So, I called and never got any calls back. Then, after a week, I called again and was told the computers were down, then Brian was out of town, then they were taking care of some groups and would be sure to get back to me with information. I e-mailed again two more times and called several times after that. NO RESPONSE!!!!! I read what others have written recently about the poor customer service and I agree 100%. Every potential client should be treated with respect and common courtesy. Travel Network has not learned this.....do not waste your time. Bad experience!

Pros: None

Cons: Customer Service Very Poor

I live near Creedmoor Rd. and was planning a trip with my family to Europe. I decided to call Travel Network. I have NEVER received such terrible customer service anywhere! No return phone calls after many messages left. When I did finally speak to a person who answered the phone, I was then given to some one else who was then busy and I was told they would call me back. That call never came. I then called again and attempted to schedule an appointment, but again no follow-up. I never received a phone call (left many contacts for them to reach me), so assumed finally that my business was unimportant to them. I did hear that they recently changed owners. No excuse for this poor service. Having worked in customer service for years as the owner of a restaurant in Raleigh, if I treated my customers like this....I would be out of business. Travel Network may be soon. Don't waste your time- there are many other agencies in the area who would appreciate your business.

Cons: Poor customer service, no follow up

This was the first time I went somewhere tropical and it was the best experience I could have asked for! I went to St. Lucia with my boyfriend. Laura Singleton was fabulous! She got us amazing flight times so we could maximize our vacation. She even got us a tour of a volcano and snorkeling included in our trip! She made sure everything was perfect. She was even able to suggest the type of room we should reserve so we could have the best view for the best price. We ended up getting an ocean view room as well as having the pool right outside our door, I couldn't have asked for anything more! All we had to do was walk out the door and we were at the pool and then walk across the pool deck and down the steps and we were on the beach. I had the best vacation and I know it would not have been as good without Laura's help and hard work.

Pros: It was perfect!

Cons: NONE

I called Travel Network more than three days ago and left a message inquiring about their services to help plan a vacation. I left both my work and mobile phone numbers. No one bothered to call me back. With "service" like that, I guess I'll just plan my own vacation.

Pros: I wouldn't know -- they never called me back.

Cons: See section on "Pros."

Travel Network recently arranged a combination bus ride to Jacksonville Florida, a stay in a motel and a Carnival cruise to Key West and the Bahamas. Everything went smoothly and all accommodations, bus ride, motel stay and cruise ship cabin, met or exceeded our expectations. Laura Singleton, the travel agent and tour coordinator, was always there checking and double-checking, handling problems as they occurred and in general making everyone feel comfortable and well cared for. The overall price couldn't be beat and in general we are thoroughly satisfied. Thank you, Laura! Adrian & Marie, Raleigh, NC

Pros: Experienced agent, good prices, reliable service

Cons: n/a
