The therapists are trained in occupational therapy, so you can get anything from a wonderful relaxing massage to specialized therapy on specific problem areas. It's great treatment for the all-day computer user/desk job types. I've been to many massage therapists, but have found this group to provide the most effective treatment.

I am definitely a tough customer when it comes to massage. I had been receiving massage therapy from a wonderful therapist prior to my move here a year ago. Upon my arrival here, I spent a long time searching for a therapist that was extensively trained, caring and had experience working with people suffering from chronic diseases. I found all of this in Miriam. She always takes the time to listen, as conditions can change over time, to make sure that the client receives the most benefit from the session. She also makes the time to keep up to date on the latest techniques.
Pros: Extensives hours, great staff, good parking
Cons: busy, so book ahead

I have always been a little uncomfortable with massages, and the last time I had one from a new therapist (at a pricey day spa in Arizona) I ended up in physical therapy after she injured a back muscle. After several friends recommended Moonshadow, I went there with some apprehension (a literal bundle of nerves). My experience was very positive; Peter has worked with me to optimize the depth of the massage and the individual areas that need to be worked for my conditions. He is very professional and takes a great deal of pride in his work. My husband is equally pleased with Sami's massages. Great place, reasonable, caring--I would recommend to anyone!

I have been going to Miriam for quite awhile for chronic muscle pain, and she has helped me so much! I continue to go every couple of weeks for maintenance and I look forward to my visits. As a treat to myself, I thought I would try a Hot Stone Massage. I was a bit apprehensive because the massage therapist that does these is a man. I took my chances and Peter was SUCH a gentleman. I wasn't uncomfortable at all. I highly recommend the Hot Stone Massage...very, very relaxing!! I can't say enough good things about Moonshadow!!
Pros: Great prices, caring massage therapists, very comfortable setting

Moonshadow is such a wonderful, relaxing place to receive a massage. Peter is the absolute best at working sore muscles. He does a deep-tissue, full body massage that is impossible to beat. I have been to several different places for massages and I have never found a place or therapist that compares with the quality massage you receive for the price. A ninety minute massage is under $100! I also run a lot of miles (30+ a week) and I always feel refreshed and relaxed after a visit with Peter at Moonshadow.
Pros: Effective, relaxing massage at an inexpensive price.
Cons: No shower available to wash oils off before leaving

I have chronic pain from spinal problems. My sessions at Moonshadow have been very helpful. An hourlong session is also a full 60 minutes, unlike some other places. A year after neck fusion, I still had difficulty getting enough flexibility in my neck to drive without pain. The PT exercises weren't helping and neither did a trigger point injection. My doctor sent me for massage therapy. After a couple weeks at Moonshadow, I picked up 10-15 degerees more rotaion and flexion. I continue to go for therapy on my back. Highly reccomended.
Pros: Full 60 minutes, Friendly, Knowlegeable

I suffer from chronic pain and have tried many modalities to receive some relief. Often massage therapy has been just too painful, but Sami at Moonshadow helped me so much. She could tell where my pain was, and how much pressure she should use. The entire staff is wonderful. They even allowed us to use a meeting room once a month for a Fibromyalgia Support Group. I've recently moved, I really wish I could have taken Moonshadow with me.
Pros: relaxing atmosphere, caring staff, often same day apt.

I really enjoyed my experience at Moonshadow and I plan to make use of their services in the not-so-distant future. The primary selling features for me were the atmosphere and the value of the services rendered. However, what tantalized me most was the diverse variety of massage styles offered, although to make an appointment with one of the more unique practioners may require longer-term planning. Overall, Moonshadow offered a very relaxing experience for a very reasonable price.
Pros: Value, Atmosphere, Diverse Services

Having been to multiple Massage Clinics in the area for treatment of chronic lower back pain, I have found decent relaxation massages but very inconsistent therapeutic services. My experiences with Nathaniel at Moonshadow Massage have made me a faithful client. He is professional, knowledgeable, methodical, and highly skilled at targeting the source of pain issues. Since joining Moonshadow Therapeutic Massages list of dedicated clients, massage therapy has become the most effective tool I have found in preventing and alleviating pain.

I received the absolute best massage of my life (I am 41) from Moonshadow. A few months ago, my back went out and I could not stand straight for three days. Muscle relaxers and IB Profin did not work. A friend recommended Moonshadow and I got in immediately. The atmospere was incredibly relaxing/calming. I walked in bent over and walked out straight up. It was the most incredible thing I had ever experienced. You need to try it....you work hard, you deserve it. I know you will be pleased with your experience. Thanks Moonshadow....I'll see you at my next appointment.
Pros: Very Relaxing, Friendly, Affordable
