ALEXA... from cherrybomb... (NOW AT BOYLAN HEIGHTS STUDIO) is a truly GIFTED hair goddess! I am an experienced hair colorist/ cutter/ stylist and I am hypercritical of other people's work.(although I usually keep it to myself) And I think Alexa does the best work I've EVER seen! She is not only creative and innovative but she is also technically superb at everything she does! She is very good at helping you create a fantastic look that fits with your lifestyle. She's also very cool to talk to and she will make you feel extremely relaxed in her confidant hands! Her prices are very reasonable for the quality of the service you will receive. She will give you her undivided attention for as long as it takes, yet she still manages to stay on schedule because she doesn't overbook herself like so many stylists do. Boylan Heights Studio has a very relaxed atmosphere. It's in a funky old building in Boylan Heights at 1106 West Cabarrus St. near downtown. All of the stylists that work there are good at what they do and it is a fun place to get your hair done. Alexa however, isn't just good...she is the BEST! I've watched her work on several occasions and every time I ask someone in this area who did their hair (because I think it looks great) they always say ALEXA at BHS! Check her out! Thanks to everyone who helped put the bomb in Cherrybomb! I am pleased to announce that beginning in September I will be joining the collective of stylists and makeup artists at Marigold Parlor . This is an exciting opportunity for me both personally and professionally. I founded my salon 15 years ago with the goal of bringing out the unique beauty of each of my clients by combining color theory, aromatherapy, skill, knowledge and a strong sense of design. I will continue with that goal at Marigold Parlor as a freelance artist. As a customer you can count on the same great care and skill along with an increased level of attention and customer service. Marigold Parlor is the premier hair, color and makeup salon conveniently located in downtown Raleigh’s new Seaboard Station. Owners Jesse and Dustin have created a beautifully urban space with an emphasis on professionalism and creative collaboration.
