In Short
Family-style portions and red-checkered tablecloths create a casual, congenial vibe, drawing families and large groups to this feast of Italian-American nostalgia set to a Sinatra soundtrack. The made-from-scratch menu is brimming with traditional dishes, from starters like fried calamari, Parmesan garlic bread and Tuscan-style mussels to spaghetti with meatballs and manicotti with chicken and spinach. For those with room to spare, a piece of sweet tiramisu and a strong cappuccino help finish the meal.

Amazing food. Highly recommended. We went for our anniversary and were treated with the upmost kindness and generosity. We felt like special customers, and our food was exquisite!!! We are going to make it our new tradition to go there every anniversary :) Eat the cheese raviolis!
Pros: Great food, well worth it!!!

My husband and I went here for the second time last night and were once again very happy with the entire experience. We were seated promptly (there is sometimes a wait on Fri and Sat) by a very courteous hostess and our waitress Melanie came right over. Melanie was not only attentive, she was just such a pleasure, we really enjoyed that she was our waitress (we had a similar experience before). She really personalized the experience for us. The food was up quickly, and was of good quality. We had the tomato and mozzarella, the spinach salad, the shrimp and linguine with garlic sauce and the Angel Hair with pomodoro sauce. We've also had the mussels. All were fabulous, perfectly cooked and fresh. My husband had the creme brule and I had the cheesecake, also both fantastic, complete with fresh berries and fruit sauce and real whipped cream. No canned fruit compote! We enjoyed it all. I consider myself pretty picky when it comes to italian food and for a chain rest. this place is surprisingly good! The family style dining might be a great option for a larger party, it may seem steep at $25 pp but you get 5 courses and have a wide selection of foods to choose from. I will say they need to expand the entrees for family style or adjust the pricing because most require and extra charge per person of $2-$5 (things like salmon, veal and beef tenderloin). The food portions are huge, and you will have plenty of food if you order a half portion We ordered half portions and we each took home more than half of our entree and the cheesecake. The desserts are large and perfect for sharing. They also have a nice selection of after dinner drinks. Live music that is not too loud or overwhelming is a nice touch and the rest. portion is smoke free. There is smoking in the bar, they seem to have a good ventilation system because you can't tell. We'll keep going here, especially when we want a nicer sit down meal with a little ambiance.
Pros: Great food and svc, nice music, grated cheese on the table
Cons: mosr expensive than some surrounding restaurants
