I just wanted to express a concern I had during the radio show one night, during the part of the program when people were calling in to blow-up people. There was one kid who called in about how his sister had thrown his cell phone into the pool and he'd gotten in trouble for it, and then the boy was encouraged to throw his sister's cell phone into the toilet, and was called a bad name over and over again because he was too afraid to do it and to get in trouble with his parents. I know that all this was just in fun and games, and I know it's something seemingly small, but as an elementary school teacher and as a big sister, it just disheartened me so much to hear that kind of behavior so glamourized and encouraged. We work so hard to teach our kids the importance of being the bigger, better person, to not retaliate, to use our words to express when something's bothering us, to not do something back to someone just because they did it to us, to make good decisions and choices and to listen and respect our parents. Doing the right thing may not be as cool or popular or fun to listen to on the radio, but the kids listening respect the DJ's on the radio, and they learn and develop a sense of how to deal with and respond to situations in life from the media. In handling situations like these on the radio, I just want to encourage finding a way to give advice that's fun and entertaining, yet still upholds and encourages good morals and values. We need a higher community standard that promotes stronger familes. It would solve a lot of the problems our society faces today.

BOB AND THE SHOWGRAM GET ME OUT OF BED IN THE MORNING, I NEVER WANTED TO WAKE UP AND TURN ON THE RADIO SO MUCH AS I DO NOW. I ADMIT, AT FIRST I JUST WISHED SOMEONE WOULD PLACE A 6 INCH STRIP OF DUCT TAPE OVER BOB'S MOUTH, AND TELL LIL KENTUCKY TO BACK AWAY FROM THE REFRIGERATOR...OH YA...MIKE IS AWESOME. BUT OVER THE LAST YEAR I HAVE COME TO NEED THIS SHOW MORE THAN I NEED MY ANTI-PSYCHOTICS. I LOVE YOU GUYS, EVEN WEIRD CREEPY. EVERY MORNING I DRIVE TO WORK YOUR ON MY RADIO, EVERY MORNING I EAT BREAKFAST YOUR ON MY RADIO. FREE SPEECH ROCKS, AND SO DOES RALEIGHS #1 RADIO SHOW!!!!!

Pros: SMART A@# REMARKS, AND SMART CONVERSATION

Cons: ONLY ON TILL 10
