Exercise your oars without the distraction of noisy, fume-spewing gas motors--they're strictly forbidden here. Boatless? You can rent one: Row boats, canoes, kayaks and sunfish sailboats are plentiful. Take the first right after entering, and you'll find the open play area. This beautiful field is snug against the water, and folks seem to relish the pairing of open space and water. It's perfect for throwing a Frisbee, tossing a Nerf or walking your dog. Speaking of dogs, watch your step for unsavory leave-behinds.
